You are invited to a weeks retreat in Epidavros Greece with our friends Chris and Helen at www.breakawaygreece.com . The week is designed to relax, unwind, and destress you in a magical coastal setting with views, sounds, smells, and authentic Greek flavours that will elevate your spirit. Wild Ivy is all about connecting back to nature, ceremony, ancient wisdom, taking time amongst spring flowers, secret picnics, early sunrising swims, late night star gazing, foraging and re-aligning our bodies to break through creative blocks. Through storytelling, music, poetry, art we will do some self- discovery and see the bigger picture of our lives, meeting our most creative selves and taming our inner critics through play, art and creative exploration.
We were all thrilled to be featured in The Times & The Sunday Times in an article called 'The Dirty Weekend Millenials Are going Crazy For' which recommended us amongst three other nature wellness retreats in the UK.
As this article tells us, people are swapping glitzy health spas for more earthy, garden and outdoor mind, body, soul wellness retreats in the wilds. At Wild Ivy Retreats we have spent the last two years offering our customers raw, re-wilding, nature, immersive experiences. Our Greece retreat is all about unleashing creativity through restorative, mindful activities such as foraging and nature bathing in the great outdoors, we are heading to the beautiful Peloponnese this autumn (September 9-16). From a base at Villa Rosa in Epidavros (a 90-minute drive from Athens), participants will join foraging walks, group meditation sessions, picnics and sunrise swims, which in turn will serve as inspiration for arts and crafts activities.
Wild Ivy's Creative Flow Retreat
It will be a week of surprises - sprinkled with Wild Ivy magic. We will be offering daily group sessions, trips, nature walks, morning swims, creative nature making, meditation and picnics. Join us for our Greece retreat this autumn (September 9-16), where we'll be unleashing creativity through restorative art therapies, mindful activities such as foraging and nature bathing in the great outdoors. Our base at Villa Rosa in Epidavros (a 90-minute drive from Athens) will serve as the perfect inspiration for our foraging walks, group meditation sessions, picnics, and sunrise swims. We'll also connect with the physical and emotional aspects of different elements each day, exploring adventure, play, rest, rewriting our stories, and letting go. We suggest arriving the day before (8th September) due to timings of flights and to allow yourself to settle into this tranquil island before we open the space for the week ahead! We can accommodate 8 guests in twin or double rooms at Villa Rosa, further guests will be accommodated within 200m at our partner hotel - a lovely beachfront boutique hotel.
What's Included:
B&B Accommodation, locally sourced breakfast, post activity refreshments, day time snacks and drinks, activities run by Wild Ivy Retreats, pre-trip support, on-trip guidance, advice and support. On retreat transport to activities.
Not included
Flights from London to Athens. We suggest arriving the day before (8th September) due to timings of flights and to allow yourself to settle into this tranquil island before we open the space for the week ahead! Transfers to Epidavros (see below), island hopping ferries, entrance cost for site visits. (around 12 euro max each). We recommend evening meals are taken in various of the many local, excellent, and cheap tavernas. We will be arranging meals out. And you are welcome to join us or do your own thing. Meals and drinks cost around 20 euros.
Transport from airport
To/From airport to Epidavros in an 8-seat minibus. 90 minutes from Athens.

Your Hosts
At Wild Ivy Retreats together we, (Caroline and Rosie) share a deep love for nature, art and creative mindfulness. In designing each event, we as always allow nature to lead the way so we can be present in the moment. When we are fully present, our senses expand, we see more, we hear more, we feel more, time slows down, we remember who we are, we remember what is important.
Our hosts Chris & Helen makes sure each guest enjoys their very best trip but being from a Greek family, and with a lifetime living it, Helen oversees all hospitality! We were so thrilled to see them last week on Channel 4's A New Life In The Sun which documents Chris and Helen's journey of setting up their villa to receive guests, focusing on cycling holiday's which is Chris' passion. But also creating a home from home for other types of holidays such as ours!
We look forward to welcoming you to our first Wild Ivy on tour great adventure and Greek Odyssey.
