Today’s sunshine summer salad is mainly plucked from nature.. which always feels totally gratifying. The intimacy with nature that foraging allows us to have is almost primitive. Eating from the earth should be taught in schools. The common weeds we look upon as pests.. are in fact highly nutritious and delicious and far surpass anything that is wrapped up in paper, glued, packaged and sold at extreme prices in super markets. How nice it feels to add a handful of blooms for a fresh morning cuppa or scatter the petals over lunch.
